I had the privilege of working with Morgan Kaye from 2018 to 2020 during our time together at Dollar Shave Club.  At this time, I hired Morgan to lead the Influencer business as the VP of Influencer Marketing.

Morgan quickly proved the value of the Influencer business by implementing rigor around processes, specifically around Influencer recruiting and management, reporting, and measurement.  Within a few months, Morgan demonstrated the incrementality of the Influencer channel, which led to this being our fastest growing growth channel.  As a DTC business, Dollar Shave Club focused on LTV:CAC as a core KPI for operationalizing our media channels.  Morgan worked tirelessly with Strategic Analytics and Finance to demonstrate how the Influencer business continually met and overachieved against this criteria.

Although Morgan was hired to drive growth, Morgan thrived on leading our Brand initiatives and strategies.  For the launch of Groundskeeper, our deodorant and antiperspirant products, Morgan developed our entire launch strategy, which incorporated PR, organic social, live event activation, and paid media support.  She collaborated closely with the Brand team to establish success metrics and ensure they were aligned with the 360 campaign.  She presented her launch strategy to the Executive team resulting in cross-functional buy-in.  The campaign was a massive success resulting in a significant lift across all our core KPIs from brand awareness to sales.
